About me

Hi,!!!

Y@shu's Kitchen is maintained authored and obsessed over by me Yashaswini.T. Reddy, I am an Architect,  married to a wonderful person, Arvind,  and lives in Atlanta, beautiful city of Georgia(USA), with beautiful breathtaking landscapes.

I am a Reddy girl born in Burujanaroppa ( a small village, Chitradurga  is my district) My family lived in Karnataka for a couple of generations now, but we are Telugu by origin and our cooking is a fantastic mix of Karnataka food+little Andrapradesh style cooking.

of-course i know most blogs talk about how they started off blogging so even i feel to share my story too, Actually there's no story behind, one day i came across a food blog, i thought it was pretty good. The Blog inspired me,!!  to open my own page.

I am not a food lover, but i enjoy cooking, I am more Interested in food photography, food styling, Blogging  and some bunch of things.

As i said,!! i am not a food lover and i am not very good at concocting recipes on my own, and grew up watching my Ajji (ammamma -grandmother) and my mommy (amma) prepare some of the most simple and complex recipes and have picked some tips and tricks along the way. Thanks to our grandma's and mommy who continue to sustain and nourish our rich culinary heritage and i believe its our responsibility to respect and preserve our tradition that have been given to us and pass it on to the next generations.

All my recipes are Borrowed adapted and Inspired from other source, all my recipes are tried and tested in my kitchen unless and otherwise mentioned.
